The Lounge is a social enterprise and part of a larger nonprofit effort to preserve this historic building. Our aim is to make it home to artists of all kinds and those who love their work. So drink up and thanks for your support!

Built in 1909 as the city’s first vaudeville theatre and silent movie house, the building was nearly destroyed by the 1937 Northside flood. Shortly thereafter the it was acquired by the Greater Cincinnati Deaf Club who lovingly cared for this old theatre for nearly 75 years. They made it their clubhouse and built the bars we all enjoy today. They still play bingo and poker here. More recently under new ownership this beautiful gem is reincarnating as the Liberty Exhibition Hall —a gathering place for artists and those who love their work.
